Dialogues with architecture to redefine the perception of spaces through light

7 April 2025

Imoon at Euroluce 2025

Imoon‘s participation in Architect@Work has developed the idea of telling the story of light through an immersive experience, not only visual but also tactile and physical. The “lunar” path, a light wave where passion translates into technology dialoguing with architecture and redefining the perception of space, then a return that reveals the “dark side of iMoon”, a darkness that is not the absence of light, but the possibility of discovery.

From 8 to 13 April, Imoon will be present at Euroluce 2025 – Hall 2, stand A11 – writing a new chapter in its history. The company has always been synonymous with excellence in retail lighting, creating solutions that enhance commercial spaces and improve the shopping experience.

Today, our commitment extends beyond retail: with the same passion and expertise, we dedicate ourselves to architectural lighting. Going beyond mere enlightenment is our goal. Through collaboration with lighting designers, architects and planners, we develop lighting scenarios that amplify the spatial and sensory experience,” says Marco Antonacci, head of the S.S. commercial of the retail division of Imoon. The company studies the interaction between light and matter, calibrating intensity, colour temperature and light spectrum to enhance textures and volumes. Thanks to specialized LEDs, advanced optics and targeted customizations, the light takes shape to obtain tailor-made configurations, always balancing technique and aesthetics.

Lunar objective: two portals, one discovery path

The visitors are invited to live an immersive experience. The stand is accessible from the left side, representing the light and bright side of the moon – the one we all recognize in our imagination  – and through a dialogue between light and matter, the visitor experiences how Imoon specialized LEDs can modulate the perception of space and materials performance.

“We wanted to create a story that develops and enriches layer after layer, creating a coherent and harmonious path. An experience that allows us to understand how far we can go in personalization, offering customers a light able to enhance spaces and make them perfectly in line with their taste, brand and visual communication needs”, explains Filippo Squillace, architectural division manager at Imoon.

The path leads to the design heart, where everything takes shape, and so does the concept, by previewing the LEM system. It then continues virtually with the exit from the right side that reveals the dark side of iMoon, a darkness that is not the absence of light but the possibility of discovery, where it is possible to visualize the projects concretely implemented and the exhibition of the products that made their realization possible. In this way, the visitor can directly associate the experience lived with his eyes and body with a tangible application. With the theme “Lunar Target”, the stand offers a spatial experience that, while seemingly endless, guides the visitor towards a delimited but extraordinary goal. “Metaphorically, we accompany visitors to the moon, demonstrating that nothing is impossible, not even the most ambitious goals,” comments Matteo Piedi, designer and creator of the stand.

Innovation and customization: the LEM system

Imoon arrives at the fair with a relevant novelty by presenting an absolute preview, a modular and highly customizable lighting system designed for architects and lighting designers, which combines high technical performance with minimal aesthetics. Its design integrates premium retail, hospitality, residential and museum environments with customizable finishes and decorative variants that, if necessary, can transform it into a bright piece of furniture. The system, designed by Architect Alessandro Pedretti and Architect Andrea Benedetto, will be available in different versions and sizes.
