From January 19th to 21th, 2023 will be staged at Lariofiere Erba (CO) – Italy – a new event dedicated to furniture supply chain operators
The date is set and preparations are in full swing for the new subcontracting show for the wood, furniture and design industry. From January 19th to 21th, 2023 will be staged at Lariofiere Fornitore Offresi Arredo & Design, a BtoB Event born in the wake of the success of the show dedicated to the Mechanics of Excellence, also launched by Lariofiere in 2009 and today become an international reference point for the sector.
A simple but effective format that allows the operators of a supply chain that finds its highest expression precisely in the Brianza area, home to the oldest Italian furniture district, whose origins date back to 1800 with the birth of the first artisan workshops, coordinated by the Scuola d’Arte e Mestieri and the Esposizioni Permanenti.
Priority objectives of the event, in addition to the development of new and significant business opportunities for exhibiting companies, are the promotion both on the domestic and foreign markets of the Brianza system and the sharing of production know-how and high-tech processing capable of responding to the dictates of the circular economy: energy efficiency, use of sustainable materials, recycling and regeneration. Therefore, not only a marketplace of a commercial nature but a place to compare and share ideas, knowledge and new business opportunities.
Among the strengths of Lariofiere’s project, in addition to being located in the heart of the Brianza Furniture District and having long garnered the consensus and support of the companies that populate it, is the active support of the entire system of business associations related to the sector. Partners of the event are Confindustria Como, Confindustria Lecco and Sondrio, Confartigianato Imprese Como, Confartigianato Imprese Lecco, CNA del Lario e della Brianza, API Lecco Sondrio, CDO Como.
Fornitore Offresi also boasts the prestigious patronage of FederlegnoArredo-the Italian federation representing the wood-furniture sector in all components of its supply chain, from raw material to finished product, in Italy and abroad-and Vero Legno-a consortium whose purpose is to protect and promote all Italian woodworking and wood-trading companies. But, as always, the real protagonists of the event will be the exhibitors: from the raw material to all stages of processing and distribution, passing through components, software and design, Fornitore Offresi has the ambition to offer visitors a complete and quality overview of the entire offer inherent in subcontracting and machinery for the furniture industry.
Among the key themes of the event, which will also be addressed during meetings, debates and training moments organized in collaboration with the Associations and Partners of the project, technological innovation, sustainability, digitalization and Industry 4.0, internationalization. On this last theme, which is strategic and of great value for the companies that have already joined the event, it has also been decided to work on the involvement of foreign buyers, looking with particular interest at German-speaking markets. Also, on the topic of buyers, specific actions are underway to involve visitors from other important Italian districts including the Veneto and Pesaro districts.
