Thailand’s thriving woodworking and furniture industry is looking forward to host the Thailand International Woodworking and Furniture Exhibition 2024 (TIWF 2024), to take place at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, in Bangkok, Thailand from 18th to 20th September 2024
TIWF 2024 is organized as a key business platform to present and discuss the latest technology, solutions, materials, trends and sustainability impacting the woodworking industry, not just in Thailand but also the surrounding Southeast Asian region. Hosted by Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the exhibition has already received numerous industry endorsements from over 17 international and local industry organizations and associations, affirming the importance of TIWF 2024 as a key regional face-to-face industry platform and market-gathering place.
Taking up over 5,000 sq. meters of exhibition floor space, TIWF 2024 has to date received participation confirmations from 7 national exhibitor group participations from Germany, USA, Malaysia, Taiwan, China, France and Thailand, joining over 150 exhibitors from 22 countries. Over 4,000 regional delegates and trade buyers are expected to attend this event, coming from across the entire spectrum of the woodworking and furniture production industry in Thailand and the surrounding Southeast Asian region.
The exhibition is also a knowledge exchange platform with the conduct of a range of conferences and seminars that discuss and share latest industry trends and issues. In addition, there will also be a series of carpentry skill masterclasses and DIY workshops conducted by vocational institutes and knowledge partners. In helping to facilitate new business and networking opportunities between exhibitors and attendees, TIWF 2024 will oversee the conduct of numerous business-related activities such as business matching program, business networking activities, technology demonstration and product presentations.
Ms. Peerayaphan Pongsanam, Assistant Director at IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., said “The trend demonstrates consistent growth in the exportation of Thai wood products. The Ministry of Commerce reveals that export values rose from 94,460.49 million baht in 2021 to 103,832 million baht in 2022, culminating in 115,176 million baht in 2023. This includes processed wood, plywood, fibreboard, wooden appliances, and wooden construction equipment, thereby illustrating robust and sustainable expansion in this vital sector.”
