On 15-17 March, EXPO XXI in Warsaw was the venue of the 30^th International Trade Show LIGHT 2023 and the 20^th International Trade Show ELECTRICITY 2023

The International Trade Show Light and the International Trade Show Electricity are one of the most important events – not only in Poland but also in Europe – aimed at presenting products, technologies, innovations in the broadly interpreted area of lighting, electrical engineering, automation, telecommunications engineering and new technologies. 237 exhibitors, a rich programme of accompanying events such as workshops, discussion panels and industry-related consultations, as well as exhibitions and shows for visitors – the edition that has just ended not only proved that the trade shows came back in an excellent form but also are the most important place for meetings of representatives of the industry and science in the Central and East of Europe.

In spite of the difficult pandemic time and the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, a unique platform for B2B contacts was organised to present both the developing Polish technological achievements and the entrepreneurs’ involvement in the development of lighting and electrotechnical sector in Poland.

237 companies presented their offer at the fairground comprising 3 exhibition halls over 10 thousand square metres of occupied space. In addition to Polish business, also the exhibitors from the following countries presented their products: Bulgaria, China, the Czech Republic, Greece, the Netherlands, Germany, Lithuania, Turkey, Ukraine, Italy and Hungary. The International Trade Show LIGHT and the International Trade Show ELECTRICITY are a unique B2B contact platform of this type in Poland used to initiate business talks and build business relationships in broadly interpreted construction sector, industry and energy sector. This is the place which makes it possible to gain unique knowledge about new products and technological solutions, discuss the possibilities of adaptation of products to the purchaser’s needs and requirements, and to guarantee the appropriate quality, appropriate prices and convenient delivery and payment dates guaranteed. This years Trade Show was visited by 5,985 people. It should be noted that number of foreign visitors increase every year, which pleases both organisers and exhibitors.

The visitors from abroad constituted 19.6% of all visitors. The Trade Show was visited by guests from 42 countries, for the foreign guests, the International Trade Show LIGHT 2023 and the International Trade Show ELECTRICITY 2023 became the opportunity for direct meetings with Polish manufacturers.

Mission of entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan

In cooperation with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, a trade mission of entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan was organised – they participated in specially organised meetings with Polish exhibitors. In addition, they had an opportunity to visit production plants to learn about production technologies and their requirements.
