There is already a waiting for SICAM 2023

4 May 2023

Components and accessories present at the highest level in Pordenone: an even more complete and attractive Show is expected

SICAM 2023 is already sold out: after having registered the now usual 90% and more of reconfirmations immediately after the closing of last October, the Pordenone Show has also completed now, when there are still well over six months to go before the opening, the assignment of the exhibition spaces. A novelty of sure impact awaits exhibitors and visitors of SICAM at the Pordenone Exhibition Center this year: the Fair is building another hall that will be set up in the area between the central entrance of the Exhibition Center and hall 5. The construction works of the platform that will form the basis of the new exhibition structure have already started: SICAM 2023 will therefore in fact see a hall 5 extended in its dimensions and with a new and expanded exhibition layout, integrating the additional areas which will be made available for the exhibition.

In the meantime, the international promotion of the Show is already fully active: the SICAM team has been present at trade fairs in various corners of the world, from Paris with Maison & Objet to Las Vegas with KBIS, India with Delhiwood and Mexico City with MeM. In particular, the Pordenone trade fair will be present with its own stand at the next edition of Interzum: “In Cologne, from 9th  to 12th  May, SICAM will meet the accessories and component companies present at the fair – informs us Carlo Giobbi, historical organizer of SICAM – and we will be available to visiting companies with our information point in the central Boulevard at the entrance to hall 5 Stand B070: we will be pleased, and we invite them for this, to have all our exhibitor and visitor friends drop by for a greeting“.

The next SICAM will be an important appointment for the accessories and components sector for the national furniture industry: in fact, the Italian Furniture Macro System saw 2022 close with a positive trend for production turnover, which marked a value of almost 29 billion euros (+11.1% on the previous year), while exports (which are worth 15.3 billion euros and represent 53% of total turnover) recorded a +12.6% compared to a domestic market (13.6 billion euro) at +9.4%: the main foreign markets, with the foreseeable exception of Russia, in fact all showed a positive sign.

The wait and above all the expectations with which the companies await the appointment in Pordenone are therefore understandable: next October, from Tuesday 17th to Friday 20th, at SICAM 2023 the main players of the furniture industry from the five continents will be present to meet fair the best suppliers of components and accessories, with their ideas and their technological and design innovations.
