IDEASxWOOD<\/a><\/strong> is the most important contest in the industry of wood<\/strong>, promoted by TABU<\/strong><\/a>, Italian excellence in the dyeing of wood located in Cant\u00f9 (CO), in the heart of North Italy;\u00a0and it is supported by ADI, FederlegnoArredo and FSC\u00ae Italia and is a yearly international contest. Main partner is Carpanelli<\/strong>, historic company that produces contemporary furnishings, faithful to a classic and elegant taste.<\/p>\n

This is a project with a strong educational impulse designed to support the knowledge of wood and its esteem as a renewable material that\u2019s sustainability can be planned for the future generations. Participants have the opportunity to develop skills on wood, dyeing technology, production processes and latest generation wood surfaces: multilaminar veneers, industrial inlays, three-dimensional surfaces, latest generation boiserie and wooden floors. TABU produces dyed natural veneers, multilaminar wood veneers and wooden state-of-the-art surfaces for the Furniture and the Interior Design sector.<\/p>\n

COMPETITION NOTICE<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The IV edition competition notice is online<\/a>. Projects must be uploaded to the appropriate section of the website no later than May 31st<\/sup>, 2022<\/p>\n

For those wishing to design WOODEN SURFACES<\/strong>, the competition notice provides the following topics:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. multilaminar wood veneers<\/strong>(650 x 3100 mm) for the furniture industry and the wall coverings for interiors;<\/li>\n
  2. industrial inlays <\/strong>both on dyed natural veneers and on multilaminar wood veneers \u2013 or freely assemblable \u2013 for the production of panels (1260 x 3060 mm, ex. Burls and Graffiti Collection by Tabu), for the furniture industry and the wall coverings for interiors;<\/li>\n
  3. three-dimensional surfaces <\/strong>made with the technique of the embossed relief or the bas-relief for the production of panels (1250 x 2500\/3000 mm, ex. Groovy Collection by Tabu) for the furniture industry and the wall coverings for interiors;<\/li>\n
  4. surfaces for state-of-the-art boiserie <\/strong>carried out in sheets (620 x 3000 mm, ex. SKEENS Collection by Tabu Boiserie).<\/li>\n
  5. wooden floors<\/strong>, carried out in slats or with other free geometric shapes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
