Although several months remain before the exhibition opens, the furniture and interior design industry is already wondering what the International Exhibition of Components, Accessories and Semi-finished Products for the Furniture Industry will bring this year. In an economic climate marked by a troubling global scenario, there is undoubtedly a strong desire to meet again in the positive, concrete and forward-looking atmosphere that SICAM has always guaranteed to visitors and exhibitors.<\/p>\n<p>Expectations will not be disappointed this year either. As tradition dictates, the available space is practically <strong>sold out<\/strong>, with a loyalty rate that has no equal in the sector\u2019s trade-fair landscape. This confirms the quality and the values that SICAM represents within the international furniture industry. It remains the only event that offers a complete and in-depth look at the elements from which the furniture of the near future will emerge. In recent editions, SICAM has proven to be not only the ultimate <strong>business hub<\/strong>, but also an extremely effective platform for understanding the trends, finishes, materials and functionalities that will inspire consumers through new tables, kitchens, upholstered furniture, beds and wardrobes.<\/p>\n<p>The number of <strong>interior designers, architects and planners<\/strong> visiting Pordenone continues to grow, eager to experience firsthand the materials, semi-finished products and accessories that will help them imagine and design future collections.<\/p>\n<p>This year SICAM will also host, for the <strong>third time<\/strong>, an important initiative promoted by <strong>ADI Friuli Venezia Giulia<\/strong>, aimed at showing young people the opportunities offered by the furniture and design world. The initiative will also highlight the possibility of turning their ideas into reality in collaboration with some of the most renowned Italian furniture brands.<\/p>\n<p>In a few months\u2019 time the event will once again bring <strong>hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors<\/strong> to Pordenone. The numbers speak for themselves: the edition held last October welcomed <strong>just under 700 exhibitors<\/strong>, one third of them from abroad, occupying <strong>20,000 net square metres of exhibition space<\/strong> and presenting ideas, products and innovations to visitors from <strong>112 countries worldwide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe look with great optimism at the edition awaiting us in a few months,\u201d<\/em> says <strong>Carolina Giobbi, Communication Manager<\/strong>. <em>\u201cSICAM is a mature, positive exhibition that aims to be an effective meeting point between supply and demand in a calm, constructive and human-scale atmosphere.
