The event is presented in its traditional layout: six pavilions with the best of <strong>technologies and solutions for the industrial world<\/strong>. Digital District, the showing path divided into four areas, has also been confirmed: Academy, Start-up, Industrial IT&amp;AI, and Focus AI. The latter space is consolidated by looking at the opportunities for integration between artificial intelligence and robotics in production processes. Like every year, the fair will not only be an exhibition showcase, but a qualified moment of dialogue and in-depth analysis on the most strategic manufacturing issues. Among the topics at the centre of the conference schedule: AI Agents, Cybersecurity, Robotics &amp; Physical AI, Software-defined manufacturing for greater flexibility in production, ESG Environmental Social Governance &#8211; sustainability as a pillar in industrial planning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Innovation travels in the districts<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The path to the fair begins in a few weeks with SPS Italia On Tour, the series of local meetings dedicated to the themes of digital transformation applied to industry. The initiative will once again touch some of the main Italian production districts, encouraging discussion between companies, the production world and innovation players.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bologna, 25 February 2026 &#8211; MAST Foundation (MAST. Academy) &#8220;Automation, sustainability and quality: the three vectors of Made in Italy&#8217;s competitiveness&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Modugno (Bari), 25 March 2026 \u2013 MASMEC &#8220;Towards the sensitive factory of the future: the factory that hears, sees, thinks and optimises&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Vercelli, April 28, 2026 &#8211; Amazon European Operations Innovation Lab &#8220;AI, robotics, automation and energy management: the synergy between technology and skills for Operations 5.0&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Position Paper: book presentation. Themes 2026 in preview <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>SPS Italia will be the occasion for the presentation of a new Position Paper, the document that aims to offer companies useful guidelines for navigating the technology landscape. Four main topics have been chosen for this edition:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Governing complex systems: rules, standards and trust as an invisible infrastructure of innovation;<\/li>\n<li>Architecture decides: from the field to the cloud, integration, accountability, control;<\/li>\n<li>Automation and control: advanced robotics in complex socio-technical systems;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding to decide: metrics, KPIs and the critical role of people in digital industrial systems;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Edited by some members of the Scientific Committee, the project grows with the presentation of the book &#8220;Evolving Technologies and Skills for Digital Factories&#8221; which collects the experiences, skills and considerations of its authors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>SPS Italia UP Challenge. Applications in progress <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>For the third year, <strong>SPS Italia UP Challenge<\/strong> enhances young start-ups that propose creative and feasible ideas in the technological and application fields. Applications are open for a few more weeks, until February 20. At stake is the possibility of entering the shortlist of the three finalists who will be able to live the exhibition experience with an equipped stand in the Start-up area. The winner will be announced at the fair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Upskilling, reskilling and orientation to new professions <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Innovation evolves rapidly, and updating skills is confirmed as a priority for SPS Italia with an exhibition space designed for those who work or aspire to enter the world of advanced manufacturing. Among them are over 5,000 students from universities and technical institutes who, every year in Parma, participate in workshops and meetings in the Next arena and in &#8220;Lessons at the Fair&#8221; at the exhibitors&#8217; stands.<\/p>\n<p>The project is active 365 days a year thanks to the SPS Italia Academy On Tour training talks in the main Italian universities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>She SPS Italia. A path of shared growth <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Throughout the year, the Morning Dates of She SPS Italia also take place. Informal appointments hosted by partner companies to rethink the future while respecting gender diversity. Since 2021, a close-knit and connected community has been sharing stories of female mentorship in the field of innovation.
