Mr. Pisati, how long have you been with Relco Group<\/a>, and what is your role?<\/strong><\/p>\n

After studying, I started an internship, starting with the basics of the company: warehouse, production, and customized assembly here at the headquarters in Buccinasco. Later, I closely followed the Quality Control and Production at our production site in Tunis. That experience allowed me to grow within our company, thanks to Giuliano’s and Joseph’s help and advice – my father and brother, respectively. Today, I feel completely integrated into the Lighting world, i.e. light in all its aspects, from active components<\/a> to luminaires, a DNA that has distinguished our Group since 1967.<\/p>\n

Finally, for three years, I have held the role of Sales Area Manager in Europe.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Relco Group agreed with Vossloh-Schwabe<\/a> to distribute Relco products in the OEM market.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Explain the value and intentions of this synergy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to our good relations with Vossloh-Schwabe, it was a strategic decision designed ad hoc. Today, we are carrying out this distribution project, which, starting from Italy, we intend to expand in the near future to other European countries and beyond. I want to emphasize that this agreement is being developed solely to distribute the components we produce for the OEM market.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Last March, you attended the Light+Building<\/a> trade fair in Frankfurt with luminaires from your production.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What were the market indications?<\/strong><\/p>\n

For our Group, the Light+Building Fair plays a fundamental role in planning our future strategies in the Lighting sector, given that the components and accessories part accounts for about 20% of turnover.<\/p>\n

Therefore, it is important to make Relco Group known on the market as a manufacturer of street<\/a>, industrial, architectural,<\/a> and design lighting fixtures<\/a>, indoor and outdoor.<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lately, Relco Group has implemented its characteristics as a player in the world of lighting design, not only with its products but also with dynamic light control<\/a> proposals for the Contract<\/a> and Retail<\/a> sectors …<\/strong><\/p>\n

Undoubtedly, today, in addition to being manufacturers and suppliers of luminaires, it is vital to include dynamic light control processes in lighting projects thanks to the use of new technologies applied to Contract and Retail.<\/p>\n

Indeed, the designers and architectural companies with whom we collaborate daily require high-performance luminaires and new lighting solutions and the related control systems connected to them.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How is the Lighting world, and more precisely of active components, changing with the advent of LEDs and the demand for Green lighting included in a global plan for energy saving and light control inside buildings?<\/strong><\/p>\n

For some time now, the design aspect has been increasingly taken into account. For example, in this period, we are finishing the lighting supply for the Palace of Justice in Genoa, where we have inserted about 3,000 remotely controlled luminaires managed according to the customer’s needs.<\/p>\n

Now, the designers are asking us for dynamic control as a standard to achieve energy savings that implement the use of LEDs thanks to the new Lighting Control tools.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Relco Group, a company in continuous evolution: what will be the next steps for the years to come?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our agreement with Vossloh-Schwabe starts from the project, for the future, to focus and invest our resources on production, delegating the commercial aspect to new future partners.<\/p>\n

It will then be even more crucial to provide high-performance, technologically advanced lighting fixtures without forgetting the home automation and energy-saving part.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
