The suspension lamp retains the fluid design that characterizes the collection by <strong>Needs Studio<\/strong> while incorporating key innovations to optimise lighting performance.<\/p>\n<p>The lamp\u2019s main body has been redesigned with a double-shell structure that balances the direct and indirect light to minimise glare, while adding a dynamic twisting effect to the ring\u2019s asymmetrical shape, with one side wider than the other.<\/p>\n<p>All technical components are hidden within the lamp\u2019s compact, slim body \u2013 especially impressive given its light source of over 6,000 lumens \u2013 enhancing the object\u2019s aesthetic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.staffedit.it\/en\/tag\/design-lighting-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appeal and striking design<\/a>, which makes the lamp appear different depending on how it is viewed from below. Light is projected downwards and upwards simultaneously with a perfect 50-50 balance between direct and indirect light. The dual ignition allows the intensity and projection of the light to be adjusted, expanding the possibilities for customised lighting already present in the two dimmable ceiling versions. The lamp is suspended by three thin cables connected to the circular ceiling canopy, which was specifically designed for this suspension. Made of matt metal in two finishes, white or black, it has a slightly smaller diameter than the ring, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the space and create the impression of floating within the ceiling \u2013 thin and light.<\/p>\n<p>The new Tidal is available in two versions: the standard model with suspension cables approximately 4 metres long, and a rise and fall model equipped with a sophisticated winding mechanism, allowing the suspension cable length to be adjusted up to 1.5 metres from the ceiling by simply lifting or gently pulling the ring downwards. Visually, the two versions are identical because the rise and fall mechanism is fully concealed within the canopy. Offered in a single size \u2013 with a diameter of 60 cm \u2013 in addition to the three sizes already available for the ceiling lamp, the suspension version takes up the four matte finishes that characterise the family \u2013 white, terra, champagne, and black \u2013 making it a versatile addition to a variety of settings, from residential to professional, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.staffedit.it\/en\/category\/contract-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contract projects<\/a>. The version with rise and fall mechanism is particularly suited for the F&amp;B and hospitality sector, as it allows for easy and quick adjustment of the lamp\u2019s height depending on the different table configurations, for two or more people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lodes Managing Director, Massimiliano Tosetto<\/strong> commented on the new feature: <em>\u201cTidal has been part of our collection since 2022.
