KSF technology LED strips are synonymous with energy efficiency and flexibility thanks to customizable cutting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Energy efficiency <\/strong>is a constant mantra in the lighting sector, representing a continuous search for innovative and reliable solutions to comply with the increasingly stringent requirements given by European regulations for emissions reduction. LED strips <\/strong>and linear lighting are generally one of the most widely used solutions thanks to their adaptability and ease of installation<\/strong>, features pursued by end users, installers and designers.<\/p>\n

The possibility of integrating innovations such as KSF technology<\/strong> – specific for energy efficiency and free-cutting<\/strong> mechanics- allows higher performance with a greater level of flexibility. KSF technology <\/strong>strictly refers to the particular type of phosphorus from which it derives, e.g. KSF phosphorus<\/strong>, which takes its name from the materials that compose it: Potassium (K), Silicon (Si) and Fluorine (F). Compared to LED chips with traditional phosphor, LED chips with KSF phosphor emit 5 very narrow peaks<\/strong>, the main of which centres on a wavelength of about 630nm. This particular feature accentuates the red spectrum, reduces the peak of blue light, increases the efficiency of the lighting fixture and improves the quality of light and the visual comfort <\/strong>of the end user.<\/p>\n

We have seen how the KSF phosphor <\/strong>allows the absorption of the blue light emitted by the LED chip – with very narrow bands in the red spectrum – increases the source’s luminous efficiency<\/strong>, contemporarily accentuating the colours that otherwise would not be accurately reproduced. These elements make it possible not to sacrifice colour rendering <\/strong>in favour of efficiency<\/strong> or vice-versa, instead obtaining both of these valuable properties. Another considerable advantage of this technology is the possibility of getting – with the same light emitted – a significantly reduced peak of blue light, thus containing the related problems.<\/p>\n
