{"id":35421,"date":"2025-08-30T14:08:07","date_gmt":"2025-08-30T12:08:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.staffedit.it\/si-e-concluso-con-successo-il-roadshow-assil-facciamo-luce-sullemergenza\/"},"modified":"2025-08-30T14:14:48","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T12:14:48","slug":"the-assil-roadshow-lets-shed-light-on-the-emergency-has-been-successfully-concluded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.staffedit.it\/en\/the-assil-roadshow-lets-shed-light-on-the-emergency-has-been-successfully-concluded\/","title":{"rendered":"The ASSIL Roadshow &#8220;Let&#8217;s shed light on the Emergency&#8221; has been successfully concluded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>A training course held in four Italian cities, that involved hundreds of operators and relaunched the centrality of safety in emergency lighting systems<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The last stop in <strong>Naples <\/strong>ended, with great participation and satisfaction, the<strong> Roadshow &#8220;Let&#8217;s shed light on the Emergency&#8221;, <\/strong>the initiative promoted by<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.staffedit.it\/en\/tag\/assil-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ASSIL<\/a> <\/strong>(National Association of Lighting Manufacturers) in collaboration with<strong> CEI<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Italian Electrotechnical Committee<\/strong>, and with the support of<strong> UNI<\/strong>, the <strong>Fire Brigade<\/strong> and the <strong>Professional Associations<\/strong> of engineers and industrial experts.<\/p>\n<p>The tour traversed Italy, from <strong>Bologna <\/strong>to <strong>Milan<\/strong> and from <strong>Rome <\/strong>to <strong>Naples<\/strong>, providing up-to-date technical and regulatory tools on <strong>the design, management, and maintenance of emergency lighting<\/strong>\u2014a crucial issue for the safety of people inside public and private buildings.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Light is a precious ally when the safety of citizens is at stake,&#8221;<\/em> said <strong>Carlo Comandini<\/strong>, <strong>President of ASSIL<\/strong>. <em>&#8220;With this roadshow, we wanted to turn the spotlight on the importance of reliable, properly installed and maintained systems to ensure safe evacuations in the event of an emergency.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The initiative in numbers:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>4 cities <\/strong>involved<\/li>\n<li>Over <strong>500 participants<\/strong>, of which technicians, designers, installers, public administrations and safety managers<\/li>\n<li>Over <strong>30 speakers<\/strong>, of which regulatory experts, representatives of institutions and leading companies<\/li>\n<li><strong>4 training sessions <\/strong>with a focus on legislation, practical cases and technological innovations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Visual Guide on emergency lighting<\/strong>, written by LightingEurope with the contribution of ASSIL\u2019s Italian experts, was presented and distributed at each stage. The guide is a fundamental operational tool in ascertaining the application of the <strong>EN 1838 <\/strong>(design) and <strong>EN 50172 <\/strong>(maintenance and control) standards, highly appreciated by participants for the tangible and visual approach. The initiative&#8217;s success was made possible by the collaboration with high-profile institutional and technical actors. In particular, the <strong>Fire Brigade <\/strong>contributed with clear and timely interventions on the requirements for emergency lighting in high-risk contexts. The <strong>Professional Associations<\/strong>&#8216; contribution, supporting the educational value of the initiative in the path of continuous members&#8217; updating, was also fundamental.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Roadshow was possible thanks to the unconditional support of member companies representing the technological excellence of the sector:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beghelli, Eaton, Inotec, Linergy <\/strong>and<strong> Schneider Electric<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ASSIL will continue to spread <strong>technical and regulatory <\/strong>in the key areas of digital transition and security.
