The <strong>artificial and indirect luminous flow<\/strong> invests the entire space, <strong>dialoguing with the natural light<\/strong> coming from the only large window on the left side of the splendid fireplace, as precious and imposing as the previous one in the Sala degli Angeli, also sketched with imperceptible luminous references to the details of the artefact.<\/p>\n<p>In this room, among the works on display, is the portrait of Federico da Montefeltro with his son Guidobaldo, which required specific attention to lighting technology and chromatic conservation features. In a shady ravine to the right of the large fireplace, the hybrid natural light of a small window enters into dialogue with an artificial luminous flow, creating a pleasant and functional vision for the visitor.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Federico da Montefeltro&#8217;s Studio:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A lighting challenge where the most probable thoughts and theoretical objectives were multiple and unusual. Despite the long experience of <strong>Light Studio, <\/strong>referring to the countless design dynamics in museography contexts, the prestigious Studiolo did not allow any technical or aesthetic creativity, understood as &#8220;free interpretation&#8221;. Only that single window indicated the &#8220;most probable and authentic light&#8221; as well as the most scientific location of a museography and contemporary lighting device worthy of &#8220;that place&#8221;. A non-invasive artifice, not close to the artefact, but hidden where the origin of light had taken place more than five hundred years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Light Studio has decided to create &#8220;a technological container&#8221;, in front of the original window, artificially repeating the same quality and trajectory of a solar flow without reflections, as well as controlled in constant conservation values. Two envelopes above and below the &#8220;new sun of the new window&#8221;, in which the seven lighting fixtures suitable for chiselling the light in the specific angles of incidence that would have allowed an excellent overall view of the wooden inlays, the Illustrious Men and the coffered ceiling.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Federico da Montefeltro&#8217;s Bedroom and The Ideal City:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Entering the private room of the Duke of Urbino is already a singular emotion. Now more than ever, the vision of the new museography and conservation layout, the partial relocation of the Duke&#8217;s rediscovered washbasin, allows us to imagine the life of a special man, in a unique place and time, that never existed before &#8211; Federico da Montefeltro, the Doge&#8217;s Palace and the origin of the Renaissance&#8221;.
