The appointment on 27 May &#8211; organised in collaboration with the Como-Lecco Chamber of Commerce, the SMART e La Rete Lariana per la Transizione Sostenibile &#8211; took place at the Badoni Workshop in Lecco.<\/p>\n<p>During the round table entitled <em>&#8220;Back to the future \u2013 Sustainable by choice. Excellent by nature,&#8221; <\/em><strong>Mauro Nodari, Chief Innovation &amp; Sustainability Officer at Techno,<\/strong> participated as a speaker.<\/p>\n<p>Nodari illustrated the company&#8217;s commitment to integrating innovation and sustainability into its production processes and the development of new products. A concrete example of this approach is the TH-GREEN and TH-SENSOR GUARD projects, which involved students from ITS and the Politecnico di Milano in a &#8220;challenge&#8221; with a specific objective: the development of sensors for monitoring air quality in public green areas, which represent the &#8220;lung&#8221; of every city.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The plastic moulding sector is extremely competitive<\/em> &#8211; said Mauro Nodari. &#8211; Techno <em>has chosen to keep production in Italy to maintain control over the production process and increase the value of the product. The theme of sustainability combined with technological innovation is no longer an option, but a vital element.
