The concept draws inspiration from Anselm Kiefer\u2019s monumental work <em>\u201cThe Seven Heavenly Palaces\u201d<\/em> (2004\u20132015, HangarBicocca, Milan): a dialogue between <strong>matter, light, and spirituality<\/strong>, reflected here in a contemporary dimension tailored to the world of lighting design.<\/p>\n<p>The showroom unfolds through two complementary dimensions: The<strong> inner area<\/strong>, a \u201cshell\u201d containing a multitude of different and combinable light sources, designed to be displayed, replaced, and related. In this space, the bulbs are the true protagonists, observed in their <strong>essence, purity, and expressive potential<\/strong>. The<strong> outer area <\/strong>is an ideal city built from stacked wooden pallets that become metaphorical \u201cpalaces.\u201d From the gaps between the pallets, the light from the inner shell filters through, creating evocative <strong>plays of light and shadow<\/strong> on the walls and floor. The raw, imperfect texture of the wood contrasts with the <strong>elegance and refinement of the light sources<\/strong>, enhancing their beauty.<\/p>\n<p>Inside the showroom, four main zones emerge:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Living area<\/strong> \u2013 a lounge corner dedicated to table lamps, comfort, and relaxation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting area<\/strong> \u2013 featuring a large table illuminated by three <em>Tubosa<\/em> pendants (inspired by Ettore Sottsass) with red cables, designed for meetings, presentations, and negotiations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Product gallery<\/strong> \u2013 showcasing Daylight Italia\u2019s most innovative solutions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reception area<\/strong> \u2013 the welcoming space introducing visitors to the project and DL\u2019s philosophy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The showroom is conceived as a <strong>dynamic, ever-changing space<\/strong>: modular tables and movable furniture allow for easy reconfiguration, adapting to different needs. It is a space that not only displays but <strong>lives and transforms<\/strong>, ready to host events, exhibitions, and collaborations with external partners. With the new Showroom, Daylight Italia aims to establish an ambitious goal: to open a direct dialogue with architects, designers, and industry professionals, the key figures who can fully appreciate and enhance its light sources.<\/p>\n<p>It represents a journey of inspiration and research and a strategic channel, until now underdeveloped, that can fill a gap and stimulate decisive growth.
