In 2026, Techno<\/a><\/strong> celebrates forty years of activity in the electrotechnical sector<\/strong>. A goal that represents entrepreneurial continuity, but also the confirmation of an industrial path based on technical expertise, supply chain integration, and focus on highly critical applications. Since its inception, the company has chosen to focus on high-performance connection solutions, designed to ensure reliability in harsh environments, both on machines and plants. A targeted specialism, which over time has consolidated a distinctive know-how on sealing, polymeric materials and mechanical design, with particular attention to high protection degrees, such as IP68 and IP69<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Industrial strategy: international focus and development<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In European and international markets, growth is based on a selective strategy: to oversee application segments, where the electrical interface quality directly affects the system\u2019s operational continuity. The business plan identifies priority countries, target sectors and actual objectives by geographical area. At the same time, Techno is strengthening its relationships with its main industrial partners to make an important contribution already in the design phase. The company is also developing a highly technical-content distribution network to spread application skills in the territory.<\/p>\n

Advanced governance: decision-making speed and multi-year planning<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With the new governance and Luca Galli<\/strong>\u2019s appointment as the new CEO<\/strong>, the company has undertaken a path of greater managerial structuring, maintaining the typical speed of an SME but inserting it into an explicit multi-year strategic framework. The link between vision, industrial objectives and economic results thus becomes more transparent, strengthening Techno’s position as a reliable interlocutor<\/strong> for those who develop equipment and systems for international markets.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Integrated innovation: product, process, service<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For Techno, innovation is developed on three complementary levels:<\/p>\n

Product<\/strong>: expanding the connection systems families with a high protection degree, more compact solutions to respond to the devices’ miniaturisation, and greater integration between connection and cable passage. The goal is to simplify installation and wiring, reducing operational time and risks.<\/p>\n

Process<\/strong>: use additive manufacturing for rapid prototyping, simulations, and reduced time-to-market. The design for manufacturing approach allows each component to be conceived already with a view to industrialisation, improving quality consistency and cost control.<\/p>\n

Business model<\/strong>: alongside the high IP components supply, Techno is structuring a Design & Manufacturing Services offer. Technical support, customised development, prototyping and mould management. An approach that allows the customer to move from idea to series in a very short time, with superior technical-economic control. The Innovation Lab supports this approach. It is an internal structure dedicated to applied research and product development, with specialists focused on simulation, rapid prototyping and technical validation. That makes it possible to shorten development cycles, to methodically address the challenges related to miniaturisation, new materials introduction, and use in highly critical environments. Sustainability is also addressed with an engineering approach: producibility-oriented design, waste and processing waste reduction, machine cycles optimisation to contain energy consumption, and qualification of a short and controlled supply chain.<\/p>\n

Vertical integration and controlled customisation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

One distinctive element is the integration of the supply chain. Design, prototyping, mould construction and production coexist in the same industrial perimeter. This allows for a quick transition from concept to finished part, with full control over quality and design changes. Customisation follows a structured process. It starts with the application analysis to evaluate whether to adapt a standard solution or develop a dedicated one. Rapid prototyping, preliminary tests and shared technical validation follow. The result is a connection system that optimally integrates into the architecture of the machine or plant, reducing installation time, maintenance work and the total ownership cost.<\/p>\n

Strategic applications: when the connection is part of the project<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The strategic sectors are those in which the electrical connection represents a critical node of overall reliability. Low-voltage energy distribution for lighting applications, HVAC systems, residential and industrial building automation, as well as systems installed in environments characterised by dust, humidity or significant mechanical stress. In these contexts, the combination of high protection, structural strength and assembly ease becomes a significant design factor.<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s fortieth anniversary will also be celebrated at Light + Building<\/strong>, from 8 to 13 March 2026 in Frankfurt am Main, where Techno will showcase in Hall 8.0 \u2013 Stand C75<\/strong>. Participating in the international event dedicated to Lighting & Building Technology represents a strategic moment to present new compact connection solutions, the evolution of the high-protection ranges and the enhancement of design and industrialisation services.<\/p>\n
