Borgo Aratico is a receptive complex in the middle of Itria Valley in Apulia, Italy. Built on what originally was a rural settlement dating back to the eighteenth century, it comprises the main farm and a complex of about fifteen Trulli (traditional Apulian dry stone hut with a conical roof) within a property of over 15 hectares. The structure has been carefully refurbished, following architect Floriana Errico\u2019s project. Two communicating housing units that can merge into a single large residence, if necessary. The client’s need was to transform this ancient residence into a receptive solution capable of making tourists taste the beauties of the Itria Valley immersed in the typical environment of an agricultural reality without neglecting the comforts of a modern home. Hence, it was essential to have the best available technologies. And talking in detail about the electrical system, this meant Vimar.<\/p>\n

It is among the exposed stone interior walls that one detail makes the difference: the contemporary design of the Ark\u00e9 series by Vimar. In the Classic version – rational geometry, linear profile and sharp angles – this series strips itself of every decoration for its purpose by defining a new energy model. The chosen material is metal with a Polar total look finish, worked with attention to the finishes typical of the unmistakable Vimar style and treated with eco-friendly processes. Designed in the present for the future, Ark\u00e9 perfectly integrates with this context where simplicity is the real added value.<\/p>\n

Besides their design, Vimar devices precisely control and manage lighting and electricity in all spaces while ensuring functionality and comfort. The wide range of controls and sockets responds to every functional need under the vaulted ceilings identifying the common areas, so as in the rooms and bathrooms. In any space guests decide to spend their time, a Vimar device is ready to provide them with fast and safe access to electricity, in the name of made in Italy design and technology.<\/p>\n
