At Milan Design Week 2026, ITALAMP presented the new CLIP suspension lamp
On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, ITALAMP, an Italian company that has been interpreting and celebrating high-end decorative lighting design for over 50 years, presented a preview of the new CLIP suspension lamp, designed by Pio&Tito Toso.
As stated by the designers: ‘The glass embraces the metal without dominating it, touching it like hands holding the weight of beauty. The metal, solid and patient, allows itself to be penetrated.’
Following the success of the wall lamp version, the collection expands with a new suspensione lamp that embodies the art and poetics of contemporary design, thanks to the magical combination of materials with timeless appeal. A luminous element that becomes the protagonist of the environment, capable of interacting with the architecture and furnishings. In the new CLIP suspension lamp, the glass retains and modulates the light, diffusing soft reflections that evoke the memory of dawn. The metal acts as a counterpoint, supporting and giving it a decisive, firm yet light character.
Together, they seek and find each other in an evocative dyad that enhances the design of the suspension lamp.
The novelty is available with a single thermoformed glass diffuser in a choice of two sizes – small 46 cm L x 64 cm H and large 60 cm L x 82 cm H – in brown, grey and amethyst finishes.
CLIP suspension is equipped with two downward-facing spotlights, designed to provide targeted and functional lighting. It creates an intimate and precise island of light, striking a perfect balance between aesthetics and performance, enhancing moments of conviviality and transforming light into a distinctive feature of the space.
Thanks to its design, the new suspension lamp fits versatilely into both residential and contract and hospitality contexts, becoming the protagonist of environments and projects ranging from the most rigorous minimalism to the most eclectic interpretations.
