Capro Italy is a specialist company in steel cable transformation with over 50 years of experience. The variety of solutions offered on the market is practically infinite and lends itself to many applications. The lowest common denominator of all Capro Italy products is the high quality of the materials used. All production also goes through an accurate control of the processes, from the incoming acceptance to the detailed control of each production phase.

Capro Italy produces flexible cables with die-cast or pressed terminals of various sizes for all applications in the lighting sector and with coating in different colours. The produced cables vary from a thin rope diameter of 0.8 to a more robust section with a diameter of 1.9. Under particular customer requirements, designing and manufacturing cables with special die-cast terminals individually hooked to the lamp is also possible. Capro Italy also supplies a specific metal terminal block for various cable diameters. The distinctive products for the lighting sector are in Zama15, a high-quality die-cast with certified, virgin and non-regenerated material. Suspension kits are also available in stock, pre-assembled, ready for shipment and final assembly. Considering the specific application types, all products are tested to maximum safety to support the lighting fixtures.

In the Company’s sophisticated laboratories, the materials are subject to accurate acceptance tests: one of the most important is the slippage test of the die-cast terminals applied to the cables, allowing to guarantee the safety load required by the use. In addition to this, there is also the test on the friction test between cable and sheath to ensure maximum smoothness of the two components.
