The Electrification and Decarbonisation International Week is reporting strong figures six months ahead of its next edition

14 September 2026

This IFEMA MADRID project, which integrates the GENERA and MATELEC fairs, has reached 85% capacity, with over 500 companies confirmed.

The event, which brings together GENERA and MATELEC with the support of IDAE (Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy) and the Ministry for Environmental Transition, has already reached 85% of its projected capacity, with over 500 confirmed companies and more than 30,000 sqm booked across Halls 7–10 at IFEMA.

This pace of registration brings the event already to the level of last edition’s, six months ahead, bolstering the appeal of an event that has evolved into a format that brings together the end-to-end energy transition value chain.

This forthcoming edition, which brings together a comprehensive network around electrification (from renewable energy generation to its end uses in industry, construction, and mobility), reflects the transformation of the energy model and serves as a platform for connecting the stakeholders involved. In addition, the International Week of Electrification and Decarbonisation also counts on the support of the stakeholder community of professionals and associations, with the participation of the leading industry associations and an increasing number of member companies unions, including AFME, AEDIVE, ANESE, APIEM, A3E, UNEF, APPA, SECARTYS, and KNX, as well as the participation of associations such as FENIE, ADIME, ANFALUM, ATEG, COGEN, ASEALEN,  AEE, AeH2, AELEC, AEPIBAL, AMI, AICE, ASIT, ATECYR, CENER, CIDE, CIEMAT, COGEN ESPAÑA, ENTRA, and the Spanish Climate Change Office of the Ministry, all set to exhibit and participate in forums and activities. The event also enjoys the support of the leading technical and specialised media outlets.
