The light control systems designed and implemented by Elettroservice
At the conclusion of the building renovation and adaptation works, adjacent to the church of San Francesco, Elettroservice managed the installation of the lighting control system for the new “Eugenio Garin” library in Mirandola (MO).
Located in the Modena Province, the library in Mirandola is one of the most important for its history and heritage, and occupied the premises of the Jesuit College in Mirandola for about thirty years. The ancient convent and the cloister that remains on the left side of the church of San Francesco d’Assisi were chosen. It is one of the most important monastic complexes in the region, and, definitely from an architectural point of view, the most beautiful and important in Mirandola.
The operation of the new “Eugenio Garin” library within the renovated building required the provision of a vast, multifunctional, and appropriately equipped space. This complex project required providing users with a wide range of services while maintaining high-quality standards, including energy efficiency and, consequently, the lighting system itself.
Thanks to 15 DALI control units (905 and 910 modules), the lighting can automatically adjust based on occupancy and natural light, ensuring maximum visual comfort in reading rooms, offices, and classrooms. For those who prefer, the lighting can be adjusted manually using buttons connected to the DALI 444 input modules. The outdoor lighting has been optimised with the installation of 49 relay modules, which control the ON/OFF lamps at the entrances and in the portico, regulating their switching according to time schedules.
Over 400 light points are thus monitored in real time through an intuitive interface, which allows for the modification of lighting scenarios and schedules.
