SICAM 2026: Innovation, Networking and Internationalisation at the Heart of the Furniture Industry

14 September 2026

From 20 to 23 October 2026, Pordenone Fiere will host the seventeenth edition of SICAM, the International Exhibition of Components, Accessories and Semi-finished Products for the Furniture Industry. Over the years, the exhibition has established itself as one of the world’s leading events for the furniture components supply chain.

At a time of constant economic change, when business competitiveness increasingly depends on innovation, flexibility and international market development, SICAM provides a unique meeting place for manufacturers, designers, product developers and buyers from more than one hundred countries. It is an environment where business grows through direct dialogue and where new relationships lead to new projects and new opportunities. The 2026 edition once again reflects the industry’s confidence in the exhibition. With nearly 700 exhibitors from more than thirty countries, SICAM will present a comprehensive showcase of the latest solutions for the furniture industry, including innovative materials, decorative surfaces, hardware, functional accessories, decorative components, fabrics, upholstery, edge solutions, adhesives, coatings and technologies that continue to shape the evolution of furniture design and manufacturing. In recent years, furniture components have taken on an increasingly strategic role in product development. Innovation often begins with the component itself: sustainable and recyclable materials, advanced technical solutions, enhanced functionality and increasingly sophisticated finishes provide the foundation for designing the furniture of tomorrow. Today, components are no longer simply technical elements; they play a decisive role in defining the identity, performance and aesthetic language of the finished product. One of SICAM’s distinctive strengths continues to be its exhibition format, designed to place the product firmly at the centre of the visitor experience. The ten halls of Pordenone Fiere offer an easy and intuitive exhibition route, without rigid product segmentation, encouraging interaction between manufacturers, designers and furniture producers. This unique format makes the exhibition highly effective from a business perspective while allowing visitors to make the most of their time and maximise networking opportunities.

In 2026, SICAM will further strengthen its role as an international networking platform through a number of initiatives aimed at fostering market development. Among these is the fifth edition of the Kyiv International Furniture Forum, which will bring furniture manufacturers, architects, interior designers and industry professionals from Ukraine and Central Asia to Pordenone, creating valuable opportunities for dialogue and collaboration in a region with significant growth potential. The exhibition’s international outlook will also be reinforced through the participation of selected buyer delegations organised in cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA/ICE) and international partners. In particular, SICAM will welcome a qualified delegation from the United States, one of the most important export markets for the Italian furniture industry, as well as a delegation from Uzbekistan, a rapidly developing market that represents an important gateway to Central Asia.Another key initiative returning in 2026 is the project developed in collaboration with ADI Friuli Venezia Giulia, following the success of its first edition. The programme strengthens the dialogue between component manufacturers and young designers by bringing together companies and design students to exchange ideas on materials, innovation and product development, while fostering new skills, fresh perspectives and lasting relationships across the furniture supply chain.
