Brian Sironi is an industrial designer and art director who grew up and trained in the heart of Brianza (Italy). After earning a degree in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano, he deepened his knowledge of materials by collaborating with companies and artisans, developing a design approach that blends contemporary aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship. In 2007, he moved to the United States, where he expanded his experience by working in an international context. Upon returning to Italy, he founded the eponymous Brian Sironi Design Studio in Milan in 2008, focusing on product design, interior design, and artistic consultancy. The studio adopts an innovation-oriented design approach, challenging conventional product structures by simplifying their forms or integrating multiple functions. Special attention is given to the interaction between product and user, through an empathetic design process that emphasizes pure shapes, harmonious proportions, and meticulous attention to detail fundamental elements of his methodology.
In 2009, he designed the “Elica” table lamp for Martinelli Luce, an innovative project that eliminates the traditional switch: the lamp’s arm itself functions as the switch, activated by a simple rotational movement. This essential yet highly functional design earned him several awards, including the “Design dello Stupore” prize at the Young & Design competition (2009), the iF Gold Award (2010), and the prestigious Compasso d’Oro ADI (2011), making him one of the youngest recipients in the award’s history. In the following years, Brian Sironi created projects for leading Italian and international brands. Among his most iconic works is the “Apollo” collection for Antonio Lupi, a series of showerheads that seamlessly integrate light and water into a single, refined composition, selected for the ADI Design Index in 2022.
Beyond design, Brian Sironi participates in conferences, workshops, and exhibitions in Italy and abroad, continuously pursuing a research path that merges innovation, craftsmanship, and an empathetic approach to design.
