Made expo 2023: system synergies, connections and vision of the future

10 January 2024

For the first time, the event was part of the MIBA-Milan International Building Alliance, attended by more than 80,000 operators from 111 countries

Valuable partnerships and more than 100 conferences, workshops and Lectio Magistralis have provided the building community with tools and ideas to build synergies and create a system. International appreciation is growing: professional operators visiting from 111 countries and more than 400 highly profiled hosted buyers selected in collaboration with ITA-ICE Agency for the four MIBA fairs.

Urban suggestions: Carlo Ratti, Winy Maas and Patricia Viel, international Archistars, intervened with their Lectio Magistralis and illuminated the MADE Expo with their sustainable vision for the future.

A synergy between similar and complementary sectors is strategic and successful. Over 80,000 professional operators are present at Fiera Milano as a result of the first edition of MIBA-Milan International Building Alliance, a format born from the synergistic union of four fairs – GEE-Global Elevator Exhibition, MADE expo, SBE-SMART BUILDING EXPO and SICUREZZA – focused on the sustainable and intelligent evolution of buildings and cities, able of offering an integrated and innovative vision of solutions to face the transition and emerging as a new international reference point for the respective represented sectors. The 2023 edition of the MADE expo, staged 15-18 November at Fiera Milano Rho, was part of this scenario, with an offer whose drivers were innovation, sustainability, technology, design and living comfort.

Four days and four pavilions for a single stage, entirely dedicated to the industry topics and – in detail – to the design and construction of sustainable, energy-efficient, digital and technologically integrated buildings. With 701 companies from 29 countries distributed in the two halls Construction and Envelope, the MADE expo confirmed itself as the ideal showcase to make room for new processes, new systems and new materials able to support the world of professionals in the fundamental transformation process of the built environment.

Engaging and dynamic, the over 100 scheduled events proved to be a unique opportunity to update and dialogue on the future of this sector.

The MADE expo will be held at Fiera Milano in 2025, from 19 to 22 November, again as part of the MIBA-Milan International Building Alliance confirming its format.
