Techno Joins the Lariana Network for Sustainable Transition

30 August 2025

Techno is pleased to announce its membership in the Rete Lariana per la Transizione Sostenibile (Lariana Network for Sustainable Transition), an initiative promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Como-Lecco. This initiative follows on from the SMART Project, a platform designed to provide companies with tools and support in their journey towards sustainability.

This step reinforces Techno’s ongoing commitment to actively contributing to a more sustainable future within the local region. The Network represents an ecosystem of innovation and collaboration, designed to address the transformative changes driven by the shift towards digitalisation and sustainability. It brings together businesses, third-sector organisations, public bodies, institutions, trade associations, and other informal initiatives that act as sustainability facilitators and operate in accordance with the Network’s values and regulations.

Mauro Nodari, Chief Innovation Officer at Techno, highlighted the strategic nature of this move:
“The company has always prioritised investment in maintaining production in Italy, rejecting offshoring strategies in order to retain control over know-how and the supply chain. Today, technological innovation, sustainability, and the ability to create synergies among companies are essential. Techno has already initiated several internal pilot projects in this direction, and joining the Lariana Network represents a key step forward.”

Luca Galli, CEO of Techno, added: “Joining the Lariana Network is a natural progression of the efforts we have already undertaken, with careful attention to our internal processes. The transition towards a sustainable development model requires a considered and strategic approach. Responsibility for a sustainable future is shared, and collaboration with other regional stakeholders—facilitated by the Lariana Network—is a step we are proud to take in building an environmentally responsible ecosystem.”
