The course promoted by ASSIL aims to analyse the increasingly strategic role of lighting in industrial environments, highlighting how careful design complying with current regulations can positively impact safety, productivity and energy efficiency. The main trends in the sector and the UNI EN 12464-1 standard, the fundamental reference to ensure visual quality in workplaces, will be explored.
During the meeting, it will be illustrated, in addition to meeting functional and safety requirements, how light now represents a strategic element to increase production efficiency, improve working conditions and reduce energy consumption. Particular attention will be paid to the integration of lighting with intelligent and connected systems, which allow the system’s dynamic and optimised management. Through an overview of design criteria, operational tools and application cases, tangible indications will be provided to consciously address the choice and implementation of lighting solutions in different industrial sectors: food & beverage, logistics, manufacturing, automotive, outdoor spaces, parking lots and service areas.
