The synergy between REDMADE‘s LineMAX LED modules and LEDiL’s Isla lenses sets a new standard for aisle lighting in supermarkets, combining maximum efficiency and visual comfort.
Supermarket lighting requires solutions able to enhance the displayed goods. The modern approach of so-called aisle lighting abandons traditional floodlighting to concentrate a targeted light on the shelves, avoiding unnecessary dispersion on the floor. This creates a high-contrast environment that guides the customer’s eye directly to the product, improving the shopping experience while optimising consumption.
To meet this need, LEDiL has designed Isla, the aisle optics currently among the most efficient on the market. Featuring a 6×1 design with a 45mm pitch, it is optimised for a 5050 LED package. Ideal for track-mounted luminaires, the Isla optics can integrate special anti-reflective shades (available in glossy and metallic black or white) to reduce glare without penalising the light uniformity on the shelves. In essence, the optics determine the light behaviour from the source and the way in which it can be used.
To exploit 100% of Isla’s potential, REDMADE has developed the dedicated LED module within the LineMAX family (code R1E35). This 280x24mm linear board houses 12 5050 LEDs, configured to perfectly match the optics (two LEDs for each lens). The guaranteed performance is very high: the R1E35 module reaches up to 5879 lumens with an efficacy that reaches 174 lm/W. Available with CRI 80 or 90, the board also allows a series connection of up to 6 modules.
The engineering integration between REDMADE’s R1E35 LED board and LEDiL’s Isla lens represents the ultimate solution for retail luminaire manufacturers.
