A point of reference for innovation, design and production of accessories and furnishing accessories for the furniture industry
Fapam Design is a reality that, in less than 10 years of activity, has become a point of reference for innovation, design and production of accessories for the furniture industry. The company, seated in Appignano (Macerata, Italy), has made as its strong point the constant investments in latest generation machinery, such as numerical controls, tube laser cutting, digital printing and water painting systems up to 6 meters.
From the processing of extruded aluminum, the company has expanded its internal production towards the processing of iron, glass, wood and plastic in order to become a 360 ° supplier for each customer. This philosophy gave concrete results: in 2019 it was awarded as the best company in the sector for growth in the Marche region; in 2022 it inaugurated the new 20,000mq plant entirely covered by a photovoltaic system with a team of 40 employees and an annual average constant growth of 20%. The company has an internal showroom and another exhibition space in Pordenone (900 meters from Sicam Fair) to provide greater service and support to all its partners.
The range of products is entirely designed by the Interior designer in collaboration with the technical department and covers the following sectors: living area, sleeping area, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. The company has never stopped in front of any request relating to the transformation of the treated materials and this has allowed it to include in the latest catalog a wide range of unique, design and quality products: from the production of aluminum doors with glass and stoneware to zamak/aluminum/plastic handles, from extendable tables to kitchen undercounter structures to retractable extraction systems, just to name a few.
The latest innovation is Kitchen Green, a modular sliding open/close outdoor kitchen, customized and entirely made of aluminum. The whole body is made of extruded aluminium with interlocking mounting, external side customizable with infill panels in grés, modularity in size, graphic customization, certified light system, possibility to supply appliances and sink drain system. With this project Fapam has put in place all its technical experience, design and innovation to offer products with added value, Made in Italy and 100% sustainable.

– Flos illuminated ‘The Reading Room’ by Formafantasma at the Stockholm Furniture Fair –
Flos, has collaborated with Formafantasma and Stockholmsmässan last February on the occasion of Stockholm Furniture Fair, the largest and most important meeting place for furniture- and lighting design and interior architecture in Sweden.
Honouring its long-lasting relationship with the studio founded by Italian designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin – Guests of Honor at this year’s show, Flos illuminated The Reading Room, a site-specific installation designed by the duo for the Entrance Hall. A clean, impressive array of iconic WireLine pendant lamps in a forest green finish perfectly match the space design concept.
The meaningful synergy between Flos and Formafantasma – based on shared values, commitment and research – has been expressed through the years not only in product design but also in collaborations for special installations in art and design shows or leading trade fairs, as in the case of The Reading Room: a quiet space where visitors could sit, read and reflect.
