Each lamp has a progressive numbering and bears the designer’s signature on the base

Sergio Asti, a great friend of Elio Martinelli who shared his aptitude for refined formal research and a wise use of materials, started working with the Lucca-based company in the 1960s, creating lamps that have now become icons of Italian design, including Profiterolle, Scafandro and Visiere.

Martinelli Luce has chosen to pay tribute to the Milanese designer, who died in July 2021, by re-editing the Visiere table lamp. As a great connoisseur and enthusiast of Japan, Asti designed this lamp in 1968, inspired by the ancient helmets of the Samurai. A discreet but strong lighting feature that adds character to a space, even when switched off.

Three hemispheres are superimposed in a play of light and shadow, spreading a soft, modulated light in varied tones across the various levels. Visiere creates a particular ambient effect, inducing relaxation and reflection. Table lamp with indirect light.
