The Veneto-based company presents a new line of sensors for the cabinet sector, such as furniture, wall units, wardrobes, display cases and mirrors
Cobofra Group, a Veneto-based company with 40 years of experience in the production of lighting components, announces the development of a new family of intelligent sensors designed to meet the needs of furniture manufacturers, lighting designers and OEMs in the sector and dedicated to lighting for the cabinet sector, the result of constant research and technological innovation.
Designed to integrate discreetly and precisely into furniture, wardrobes and display cases, the new sensors developed by Cobofra Group, wired or wireless, optimise the on, dimmability and off of light, improving energy efficiency and the user experience. The range includes five wired sensors: touch, PIR, hand wave and door (single and double) in different versions (Premium and Gold) that are inserted between the power supply and the light source and require a predisposition (recessed) inside the cabinet. The Premium range of wireless sensors, consisting of five sensors and the Gold range of three, communicate directly with the control modules without the need for visible wiring, allowing the installation of the light line without any fixing to the cabinet: the result is a clean and essential aesthetic, in which technology and design integrate perfectly without compromise. The control box, the wireless signal receiver, can be positioned up to 15 meters away; it has outputs of up to 10 outputs and supports various remote controllers (PIR module, touch, hand wave and door sensors).
The line of mirror lights is equipped with three independent touch channels that allow switching on and off, adjusting the light intensity (dimmer), activating the anti-fog system and dynamic white management, for customizable and functional lighting. In profiles for LED strips, such as those installed inside kitchen wall units, the use of touch sensors and PIR with wireless communication allows you to manage the light intuitively and without any visible physical connection: the entire system works, here as for mirrors, without the need for visible fixings or external wiring, ensuring maximum aesthetic cleanliness and design freedom, with lighting that activates directly where you need it.
“Our new line was born from listening directly to customers and from the desire to offer increasingly high-performance, versatile and easy-to-integrate solutions,” explains Nicola Borgatello, CEO of Cobofra Group. “These sensors are only the first step in a technological expansion plan that looks decisively to the future of smart light.”
With this innovation, Cobofra Group confirms its vocation for customization and the quality of its Made in Italy, strengthening the link between technology, design and functionality in the indoor lighting sector.
