Bricoday confirms its centrality in the trade fair landscape of the brico, home and garden sectors with an edition rich in new products, business opportunities and in-depth analysis of the main market players. Having officially obtained the International Trade Fair status, the next edition will be held on September 22 and 23, 2027, at Fiera Milano Rho.
At its 18th edition, Bricoday (23-24 September, Fiera Milano-Rho) confirmed the centrality of the event for the do-it-yourself, home, technical and garden sectors. Having matched the results of the record-breaking 2025 edition (25,000 sqm of exhibition space, 10,000 attendees), Bricoday is now embarking on a new phase of growth and international expansion.
It is against this backdrop that the event has been officially designated as an International Trade Fair, a recognition reflecting its growing appeal in foreign markets.
“The goal was to consolidate the success of the last record-breaking edition, and we can say we achieved it. It is an excellent result, especially considering the challenging year the sector has faced,” the organisers state. “This outcome confirms the soundness of the path we have taken and is further validated by the growing international reach of Bricoday.”
The figures for this edition confirm this: 460 exhibitors spread across 25,000 square meters of exhibition space, with 20% coming from abroad, particularly from France, Spain, and Eastern Europe. This international scope was also evident among the buyers; Europe was the primary region of origin, with numerous distributors and retail chains from the DIY and housewares sectors in attendance.
In terms of exhibitors, over 100 companies participated in Bricoday for the first time—a figure that confirms the event’s strong appeal and helped shape an edition rich in new products, display solutions, and services tailored to various distribution segments, ranging from DIY stores and professional retailers to wholesalers, hardware stores, and houseware shops, as well as large-scale retail chains and big-box stores.
The exhibition’s new layout, organised into three macro-areas, Home, DIY/Technical, and Garden, is also being consolidated; these areas are designed to make the visitor journey clearer and more functional. Rounding out the offering are two thematic events: Bricoday Digital, dedicated to retail digitalisation, and Bricoday Luce, focused on the lighting sector. “Of particular note are the increase in the average size of the stands and the exhibitors’ growing focus on their layout—an important signal for us”, says Bricoday Director Maurizio Casolaro.
Under the banner “Connect. Trade. Grow.”, the conference program offered a comprehensive analysis of the DIY, Home Improvement, and Garden sectors. Data, trends, consumption patterns, distribution strategies, corporate case studies, and insights from leading players were presented, fostering an open dialogue on market evolution and purchasing behaviours, the transformation of technical retail, and the growing role of data, AI, and digital tools in sales and management processes.
Building on these results, Bricoday is preparing to continue its growth trajectory, reinforcing its role as a meeting point for the entire supply chain and further expanding its international reach.
The next edition is scheduled for September 22 and 23, 2027, at Fiera Milano Rho, to continue to connect companies, retailers, distributors, and industry professionals, while offering the market a high-quality forum for dialogue, industry updates, and business development.
