“Catas Point Pesaro”: a great success for the first workshop

24 April 2023

“Formaldehyde and volatile organic substances: the rules of the furniture market” was the title of the first workshop organized by Catas, the most important European testing laboratory in the wood and furniture sector at the new Catas Point Pesaro

At the event – which recently took place in conjunction with the official opening of the new Catas Point headquarters inside the offices of Manifaktura, partner of the laboratory –- many companies of the Pesaro district where present. They finally underline the importance of the subject, given the considerable evolutions concerning this delicate matter and which have been clearly presented by the Catas experts.

It is only the first of the many appointments that we have planned for this year in Pesaro and in our headquarters in Brianza, in Lissone”, commented Franco Bulian, director of the laboratory. “The end of the pandemic emergency has allowed us to finally kick off a project that wants to bring Catas ever closer to companies and places where we can share our experience and our expertise“.

The seminar actually marked the beginning of Catas’ activities in the Marche region and was intended to confer an immediate connotation of technical contents to the official opening of the Catas Point. Other events have already been scheduled for the coming months, dedicated in particular to the delicate issue of the safety of cabinets – in the light of the new and strict directives arriving from overseas – and to reaction to fire, an always “hot” topic for all operators in the sector.  During the first meeting at Catas Point Pesaro, several companies showed great interest in the topics of painting and gluing, subjects for which there is the will to program ad hoc courses and initiatives, even within the same production realities of this territory.

CATAS this year participates for the first time at INTERZUM: Boulevard, Stand B089
