Beyond design: the customized light by MM Lampadari lights up the Cucina restaurant of the first Marriott Resort in Dubai. The Made in Italy design and craftsmanship of MM Lampadari fly to Dubai, to decorate and embellish with its light the unique atmosphere of the renowned Italian Restaurant Cucina, in the enchanting setting of Palm Jumeirah.
Each luminous element has been designed to measure: the earth of the creation is composed of four imposing pendant lamps, including three lanterns with a contemporary design and eleven elegant wall sconces. The timeless elegance of traditional materials, craftsmanship and attention to details, which have always characterized maison MM Lampadari’s artisanal creations, give life to a light in which to be enveloped that, between modernity and tradition, goes beyond design and excites.

– A secondary school turned into a technology campus with HIMACS at the meeting point –
Design & Meer the studio responsible for the design and production, together with VRP architects, took on the project to convert an old secondary school into a workplace and campus dedicated to information and communications technology. The project thus aimed to include high-quality materials, such as HIMACS.
Measuring a substantial 10 metres long, the counter has an eye-catching, clean, robust look, while the large worktop allows this HIMACS piece to be used both as a reception space and an employee meeting point.
This special attribute of the material rounds off HIMACS’ outstanding hygienic properties: the entire counter surface is non-porous and smooth, preventing any unwanted build-up of dirt, bacteria and viruses. It is for this very reason that this solid surface material is ideal for projects subject to high everyday traffic.
