Ivars: new forms for seats and tables

22 October 2026

Seating: systems evolving with spaces

Designing a seating product today means meeting increasingly diverse needs: comfort, flexibility, customization and capacity to fit into a very broad range of contexts with style and coherence. It is indeed in this direction that Ivars continues to develop and consolidate its seating range, creating and refining systems capable of evolving through a multitude of configurations, finishings and solutions. Among the latest and most representative proposals, Volver embodies this design philosophy. It features a shell designed to offer the utmost comfort in daily use, characterized by a wide shape and a versatile structure suited to Contract, Home Office and Educational contexts.

Made from high-strength plastic material, Volver is available with or without armrests along with an optional plastic seat panel that can be upholstered or with a molded PU seat; expanding customization possibilities and ergonomic performance.

Modularity is one of its key strengths. The same shell can be combined with various frame and base types: plastic and plastic wood 4 legs, metal 4-legs, wire frame, swivel bases and bench system. These configurations are complemented by solutions dedicated to the educational sector, including versions with tablets to meet the contemporary learning environment’s demands. It is an open system that allows for the development of different seating solutions based on a single design identity. Volver is a part of a strategic process that has seen Ivars expand and diversify its seating portfolio in recent years. Liberty is indeed an example, a family range showcased at Interzum 2025 and developed to seamlessly adapt to Office, Community, Waiting and Health settings.

A cross-cutting collection, capable of maintaining recognizability and aesthetic coherence even as its base, structure or intended use change, extending to configurations on benches for waiting areas.

The product line continues to evolve, looking to the future. Ivars is already working on new projects leading up to Interzum 2027, always looking for solutions capable of combining design, functionality and versatility, thus enlarging the possibilities offered to the designers.

Tables: new solutions for comfort and functionality

This focus on flexibility also extends to the tables’ world. Among the news is Iris, a height-adjustable side table, designed to naturally fit into lounges, hospitality, waiting areas, offices and common spaces. Its essential design, fluid adjustment and compact structure allow it to easily move from relaxation moments to operative activities or informal tasks. Available with an ivory base and light oak tabletop or black base and dark oak tabletop, Iris combines aesthetic and functionality in a versatile solution for contemporary spaces. Alongside Iris, Ivars is also expanding Mythos range, the sit-stand desk with inclinable tabletop originally presented at SICAM 2025.

Designed for professional, healthcare and residential environments, it combines a compact structure, height adjustability and a tilting top to offer ergonomics and practicality for different uses. A new grey version will be added to complete the range, increasing flexibility for the interior design projects.

The new table offerings will be showcased at SICAM 2026, which will be held in Pordenone from October 20 to 23. Ivars will be at Hall 3 – booth A7, where clients, designers and professionals can explore a continuously expanding product range from seating to accessories, focusing on configurability, design quality and adaptability to modern spaces.
