Thanks to courage and trust in himself and in his collaborators, he has created the reality we know now: Metal Fly, the Marche-based company that has been operating for over 30 years in furniture subcontracting, manufacturing quality items according to customers’ design and request.
Thanks to passion for furniture-connected technology and a prodigious entrepreneurial spirit, the company has grown and turned, from a small family garage back in February 1992, into a reality of 10,000 covered square meters located in Lucrezia di Cartoceto – Pesaro Urbino area – in the early 2000s. Then, in 2004, by expanding the workshop department and epoxy powder coating system, Metal Fly was born, featuring the founding members’ spirit, and keeping the “MF” logo, i.e. Maurizio and his wife Fiorella.
At the beginning, customers mainly focused on delivery speed and good service. Now, quality and distinctive design have become essential values. With an increasingly demanding furniture market, the company has indeed managed to grow steadily, even facing, at best, the difficult periods that have affected this sector over the years, by providing good service and good quality, which means growing the company in the constantly evolving furniture market.
Know-how, advanced technologies and a production system that guarantees quality according to the most demanding European standards have always been essential values featuring Metal Fly. And flexibility is the cornerstone for complying with the Lead Time: the required delivery time is variable (from a few days to a few weeks), so Metal Fly is always ready to meet the specific needs of customers. Participation in international component trade fairs is essential for the Marche-based company to get in touch with new customers, meet potential new partners and those already known.
Present at Sicam Pordenone (HALL 10, Stand D2) and Interzum Cologne, Metal Fly is constantly working to improve production and carry out new projects to simplify the end consumer’s life. For example, the Horizontal Bed Base Lift Mechanism for storage beds is perfect for making the bed easier to tidy, as the bed base reaches head height.. On the other hand, the folding table turns into a perfect space saver through a mechanism that allows the top to be positioned from vertical to horizontal or vice versa. Metal Fly has already presented these two products on the market. The company employing 85 people now relies on external consultants, especially abroad, although Maurizio Cagnoli is used to repeating that direct relationships with customers remain a winning key.
