In lighting and architectural applications, the miniaturisation of system components is essential to overcome the constraints of available space. The TH395 two-pole electric coupling, a novelty in Techno‘s TEETUBE line, is the perfect answer to this need thanks to its extremely small size and high performance.
Designed to handle AC/DC currents up to 10A and 500V, the TH395 is just 14mm in diameter, with a length of 76mm (linear version) or 42mm (M16 panel version). Receives flexible cables with an outer diameter of up to 7.9 mm and conductor cross-sections of 0.25 x1.5 mm², including H03VV-F, H05VV-F, H03VVH2-F(slotted) and H05RN-F types. The coupling ensures a high seal against external agents, thanks to the IP66/68 protection degree. Its mechanical resistance up to IK08 makes it suitable for installations in possible high mechanical stress contexts.
This feature is expressed in the two-colour plastic alternatives (black and grey) and in the possibility of customising the colour of the co-moulding rubber, to differentiate the connection type. Other peculiar features are the Y and H junction splitters and the possibility of using them inside corrugated pipes with a diameter of up to 20 mm, further facilitating their integration into tracks and wall boxes. The coloured marking ring, available in white and green (and blue on request), allows different kinds of signals to be clearly and quickly identified on the construction site.
The mix of compactness and performance makes TH395 the right choice for designers and installers involved in architectural lighting projects. The joint, indeed, perfectly integrates into the poles and bollards present in gardens and street furniture, simplifying wiring and maintenance. Thanks to its features, it is also used in connection kits for power supply devices and lamps, where it effortlessly integrates.
Made of PA66GF with self-extinguishing properties, the connector body is perfect for environments where mechanical, thermal and flame resistance are essential, such as electrical, electronic and automotive. The rubbers and gaskets are made of TPE, which offers excellent resistance to oils, greases, solvents and insulation, provides a barrier against water, dust and moisture, protects against UV rays and ozone, prevents short circuits and dispersions. For immediate identification of the poles, the joint uses a differentiated pad symbology, with the wording 1-2 and L-N available in the catalogue, and the possibility of requesting the + and – symbols for specific needs.
Like all Techno solutions for high-performance electrical connection, several accessories are available further to expand the application possibilities of the TH395 coupling: 2-pole, slotted, single-hole and blind grommet (allowing it to adapt to different wiring configurations), nuts and a practical clamping wrench that ensures reliable coupling closure.
