A project of great scenic impact in one of the most iconic spaces in international retail
Vetrart, an Italian company based in Bassano del Grappa, province of Vicenza, brings its vision of decorative lighting to the Dubai Mall, with a large-scale installation of the Kuge system, made of borosilicate glass. A scenic cluster of Kuge in a smooth satin white finish was installed for the Dubai Mall, using all four formal variants that make up the system.
Suspended and positioned at different heights, the lighting fixtures draw a fluid and dynamic trend, generating an undulating optical effect capable of capturing the eye and transforming the environment into an immersive experience. The result of this lighting project is an authentic “Wow-Effect”, in which light, material and architecture dialogue in perfect balance.
Kuge is a modular pendant lighting system, consisting of four different shapes, available in transparent or satin glass. The possibility of choosing different cables and components allows a high level of customisation, making the system extremely versatile and suitable for complex and prestigious design contexts in the Contract world.
Available in a striped or smooth version, borosilicate glass enhances the play between light and shadow, amplifying the shape’s perception and giving visual depth to the installation. Kuge thus represents the perfect balance between modern and classic, design rigour and decorative suggestion.
