At the 2023 Wood Festival in Cantù, a parade of wooden clothes and jewellery
TABU, in collaboration with the Enaip Foundation and the Municipality of Cantù, organized a fashion show of wooden clothes and jewellery for the final evening of the Cantù Wood Festival 2023.
Last, at the headquarters of the Enaip foundation in Cantù, clothes and jewels produced with TABU veneers and woods applied to the fabric were presented in front of an enthusiastic audience. They were also able to admire the quality and elegance of fashion accessories, such as necklaces and bracelets, which are also made of wood.
The clothes, made by Giovanni Longhi (Designer), Irene Colombo (Stylist and Seamstress) and the jewels, made by Roberta Busnelli (Art Designer), represent a dialogue and creative point of contact between wood and the worlds of fashion and tailoring. In fact, TABU veneers and woods, applied to the fabric, as well as the wood used for jewellery, naturally coexist with apparently distant elements, enhancing each other.
