26 October 2022

Almach Art Gallery in Milan in collaboration with Tiers Gallery “opens” in Omotesando, Tokyo

Anna Pennati presented her “BLACK SERIES”; works where absolute black represents the inner cosmos linked to the entire universe and white forms are the materialization of the energy, sounds, frequencies that the artist has perceived and reported in the works, making them visible to all. The exhibition directed by Kaori Akiyama (Sudio Bycolor), designer who has won numerous national and international design awards for his approach that enhances the charm of colors and materials, and, for the occasion, exhibited his work “BLACK BOX”. By Luca Temolo Dall’Igna, former director of museums and foundations who, in over 30 years of career, has always paid attention to the international art scene, enhancing art in all its forms.

The fine design and the high level of customization allow for infinite set-up possibilities

Arakawa Giken Kogyio Co. confirms with this operation its commitment to the world of art, museums and galleries, made possible by the flexibility and absolute reliability of the systems it produces for the cable lock chain. For this reason, a double special thanks to Makoto Arakawa for the collaboration of Arakawa Giken Kogyo Co., a company that has always been attentive to the world of art and design, and to the lighting support of ITL Corporation.

The initiative is part of the solid collaboration between Almach Art and Arakawa & Co., which began after the start of an important technological and artistic partnership on the occasion of the opening of the showroom dedicated to art in Milan. Almach Art Gallery is an art gallery understood in a traditional, simple and essential sense, which brings back to life the artistic fervor of the city during the 60s and 70s, a place of dialogue that is always open between artists, curators and spectators, and which intends to enhance the whole with the use of the best technologies available for the display of works of art, to offer observers the best possible experience.

For the installation of the works of art, the Arakawa Grip system was therefore an integral part of the set-up work. The architectural elegance of Tiers gallery in Tokyo is combined with the modern Italian style of Almach Art Milano. This collaboration hopes to reach a new exhibition concept in which the current distinctions between Art and Design are completely canceled, proposing unique works such as those that Anna Pennati and Kaori Akiyama presented in this exhibition.
