Cobofra is a consolidated and recognized reality in the Lighting world, which follows and anticipates the developments required by the lighting market through continuous technological evolution linked to components and the new services the market demand. Cobofra Lighting deals with electrical cabling for the lighting world. Cobofra manages cables having sections from 0.09 mm2 up to 70 mm2, both single- and multiple-core, with voltages up to 2.5kV, conductor temperatures up to 300°C both with and without sheath, or “double insulation”, both round and flat, transparent and coloured, halogen-free, fire retardant etc. Furthermore, manufacturing on request is welcome, for example covering in fabric or metal shield.
Cobofra Electronics internally designs and manufactures electronic products for the OEM lighting world. In Padua and Treviso – Italy – plants, Cobofra follows the entire production process, from design to prototyping. Thanks to this relevant production feature, times and processing are controlled, and the end customer has a single reliable interlocutor. The development of new technologies, in particular, related to the IoT world, gives the possibility to have always very innovative products.
Currently, Cobofra Electronics production mainly focalises on devices with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi interfaces that allow easier local control, remote management and supervision. Cobofra also develops and tests internally all related tools, such as apps or control interfaces.
Cobofra Cabling completes the offer linked to the lighting world, offering customizable signal and power cables according to any technical or aesthetic need. That leads, among others, to obtain a high production quality, with significant economic savings and a reduction in production times. The use of many types of connectors, such as IP protection, operating voltage, maximum current, dimensions and regulatory requirements, satisfy all customer and market needs.

– Flos illuminated ‘The Reading Room’ by Formafantasma at the Stockholm Furniture Fair –
Flos, has collaborated with Formafantasma and Stockholmsmässan last February on the occasion of Stockholm Furniture Fair, the largest and most important meeting place for furniture- and lighting design and interior architecture in Sweden.
Honouring its long-lasting relationship with the studio founded by Italian designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin – Guests of Honor at this year’s show, Flos illuminated The Reading Room, a site-specific installation designed by the duo for the Entrance Hall. A clean, impressive array of iconic WireLine pendant lamps in a forest green finish perfectly match the space design concept.
The meaningful synergy between Flos and Formafantasma – based on shared values, commitment and research – has been expressed through the years not only in product design but also in collaborations for special installations in art and design shows or leading trade fairs, as in the case of The Reading Room: a quiet space where visitors could sit, read and reflect.
