A geometric design to give life to furnishings with unique, eclectic, extravagant and at the same time elegant and timeless attributes

Frequency is a sophisticated geometric design that comes from the idea of Manolo Grazioli and Michele Morici; characterized by its high transversality in use, the project manages to give life to furnishings with unique, eclectic, extravagant and at the same time elegant and timeless attributes. Its design is aimed at creating a veneer with Tabu‘s multi-laminar technology, designed to be applied on furniture and in home environments.

Depending on the scale of the texture and the combinations of essences of the 555 collection, it is suitable for decorating all home environments: living area, bedroom and kitchen. If proposed in a macro scale, it can be applied to portions of walls, doors, cabinet doors and wooden paneling. Proposed in micro scale, it is perfect for covering small and medium-sized furniture. The modularity of the texture is repeatable both horizontally and vertically, without interrupting the decoration. Inspired by the concept of frequency, the Frequency multi-laminar veneer has been designed with essences from FSC-certified wood species.

Thanks to its originality and versatility, in September 2022, Frequency won 3rd place in the IdeasXWood 2021/2022 competition (student category). The project also received the Driade award, an aesthetic laboratory born from the desire to introduce experimentation in the serialization of industrial products.
