Under the RED brand, Universal Science offers high-power LED solutions, compatible with LEDiL 2×3 STRADA optics
Under its registered trademark RED, Universal Science offers a new series of high-power LED solutions compatible with LEDiL’s STRADA 2×3 optics for a winning combination that aims at improving the cost-efficiency ratio.
Made in Italy at the production plant in Pregnana Milanese (MI), the LED modules under the RED – Integrating Lighting Technologies brand represent one of the latest innovations in the Universal Science product catalogue. Part of the LightMAX family, dedicated to all high-power LED solutions, these LED boards use a 5050 LED package and are combinable with STRADA 2×3 optics from LEDiL, of which Universal Science is an official partner.
The LED modules comply with Book 15 of the Zhaga Consortium, which defines the specifications for rectangular LED modules, whose length range ranges from a minimum of 72.6x50mm to a maximum of 225x50mm, aimed at use with lens arrays. The ecosystem of LED modules and lenses thus makes it possible to renew luminaires during their useful life with new module-optics combinations, therefore promoting the circular economy.
LEDiL’s renowned STRADA family is available in a new 2×3 layout with a 50x50mm footprint per 5050 LED package. LEDs can be driven at lower currents, increasing efficiency, producing more lumens per watt, and reducing power consumption. Additionally, reduced heat generation can help extend the lifespan of LEDs.
Thanks to patented beam technology and advanced light control, it is possible to increase the distance between the poles and thus reduce the number of luminaires while reducing installation and maintenance costs. With new beams available and more on the way, in addition to the already launched HB-2X3 with symmetrical beams for industrial and indoor lighting, LEDiL’s 2X3 LED optics meet the different needs of various lighting projects according to IESNA regulations.
