More and more companies are relying on the Sistema Ecolight’s company to manage EPR obligations in Italy and European markets. In 2025, almost 100 Italian companies have been supported in their activities abroad, and over 600 in our country.
Sustainability does not stop at national borders. This is demonstrated by the growth recorded in 2025 by Ecolight Servizi, the Ecolight System company specialised in helping companies manage waste and comply with complex environmental laws. According to the data contained in the latest Sustainability Report of the Ecolight System, internationalisation services have increased by 147% compared to the previous year, confirming the growing interest of companies in specialised support in the management of environmental obligations related to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
“As the regulatory environment becomes increasingly complex, companies that market electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators across national borders have to deal with EPR systems that differ from country to country. Registrations, periodic declarations, appointment of authorised representatives and obligations related to the management of the end of life of products represent increasingly complex activities, especially for companies operating simultaneously in several markets,” explains Fabio Bianchi, CEO of Ecolight Servizi.
During 2025, 97 Italian companies were supported in the marketing of electrical and electronic equipment and batteries in Europe, while 619 foreign companies chose the Ecolight System consortium as their authorised representative in Italy to fulfil the obligations provided for by national legislation.
In addition, 968 companies have entrusted Ecolight Servizi with the management of practices relating to EEE and 408 for batteries and accumulators.
“Environmental regulations are evolving rapidly throughout Europe and require specialised skills,” Bianchi remarks. Our goal is to accompany companies on this path, simplifying obligations and allowing them to focus on their business, with the certainty of operating in compliance with the rules.”
Internationalisation is only one of the areas of activity of Ecolight Servizi.
