Teamwork lunches Best Luxury Hotel Awards

The inaugural edition for the award for Italian hospitality excellence will take place in Milan

Hotel Principe di Savoia, Milan. 25^th September 2024. 300 guests, 30 finalists and 10 winners. These are the numbers for the first edition of the Best Luxury Hotel Awards. The new recognition of the Italian hospitality excellence is organized by Teamwork Hospitality with the contribution of Elle Decor, the Heart Italia brand which represents a privileged watchtower on the world of design and monitors and offers hospitality projects that relate new lifestyles and sector evolution. Until the 30th June 2024, all five-star and luxury five-star hotels in Italy can send their application to the Best Luxury Hotel Awards. Hotels can apply in 10 different categories for excellence: service, restaurant, bar, breakfast, spa & wellness, sustainability, technology, design, new opening, general management.

“The Best Luxury Hotel Awards celebrates Italian hospitality excellence in all its aspects, from the best guest service to the best technological innovation. An initiative that arises within the framework of a larger project that also includes Teamwork’s organization of the Luxury Hospitality Conference, the first event in Italy dedicated to luxury in the hospitality sector, now in its third edition.” Explains Mauro Santinato, President of Teamwork Hospitality.

The award, which was created to certify the crown jewel of the Italian destinations, aims to become an annual recognition for distinguished luxury accommodations facilities offering an exceptional experience to guests. Among the jury members, composed by skilled and experienced experts in the luxury hospitality industry, there will be Bocconi MET President Magda Antonioli, ALMA (International School for Italian Cooking) President Andrea Sinigaglia, Hotel Principe di Savoia General Manager and EHMA delegate Ezio Indiani, Le Guide de L’Espresso Curator Andrea Grinaffini, Posh Places Director Alberto Paolo Schieppati, Managing Director of Hearst Global Design Roberta Battocchio, President of the Italian Association Confindustria Alberghi Carmela Colaiacovo, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide Filip Boyen, and CEO and Founder of EFNcommunication Erika Fay Nicole.

The jury will select 30 finalists who will be invited to the award ceremony. The 10 winners will be honored at Hotel Principe di Savoia, in Milan on 25^th September 2024. The evening will be hosted by a distinguished journalist.
