The Bronzetto presents Tra le Nuvole: the light no longer has its feet on the ground

7 April 2025

A luminous swing between balance and wonder

Il Bronzetto presents Tra le Nuvole, a collection of lamps and coffee tables that defy gravity and redefine the concept of light in space. It is not a down-to-earth collection: it is a dynamic system in which table and lamp alternate, interchange, changing roles depending on perception and use. It is an invitation to soar, to be carried away in a game of oscillations and reflections, where light becomes as light as air and design dialogues with movement. Inspired by the works of Alexander Calder and the kinetic experiments of Bruno Munari, each element of Tra le Nuvole moves delicately, interacting with the environment and with those who live there, coming to life from the alternation between the solidity of brass and the ethereal purity of alabaster. Luminous and metallic spheres balance each other in an oscillating motion, evoking the hypnotic rocking of a swing suspended in time.

From a lighting point of view, the collection plays on the diffusion and reflection of light. With its natural translucency, the alabaster filters the light source, returning a soft and enveloping lighting, perfect for creating warm and evocative atmospheres. The burnished and hand-waxed brass, with its warm and vibrant shades, gives the elements a three-dimensional imperfection that tells the story of the material and the gesture of the craftsman.

It is more than just lamps or coffee tables. Tra le Nuvole is a sensory experience. It is the story of a dream that takes shape, of an idea that challenges the static and invites us to see the light in a new way: not anchored but free to float.

Each piece is a small universe in balance, where full and empty, light and matter, stillness and movement dialogue continuously.

The Bronzetto will be at Euroluce 2025 (Hall 6, Stand D41) to reveal Tra le Nuvole‘s magic and accompany visitors to a parallel universe where design does not touch the ground but dances in the air.
