The latest Dekton® and Silestone® collections by Cosentino at Architect@Work Milano

3 February 2023

The Cosentino Group, a Spanish company leader in producing and distributing innovative surfaces for the world of architecture and design, was the star at the Milan stage of ARCHITECT@WORK, the international format dedicated to the themes of innovation in architecture and construction held last November in Milan, Italy. For the occasion, Cosentino has entrusted the innovation narrative to the latest Dekton® and Silestone® collections, making them the protagonists of its stand.

Dekton® is a sophisticated blend of raw materials such as glass, latest-generation porcelain materials and quartz. Its production foresees the use of the exclusive particle sintering technology “TSP”, involving an innovative ultra-compacting process thanks to which the material acquires superior technical and mechanical properties. Among these are resistance to sudden changes in temperature and impact and high UV, chemical and bending resistance. Features that make Dekton® the perfect choice for projects involving very complex applications.

Silestone®, instead, arises from a hybrid formulation of mineral raw materials, synthetic materials and materials of recycled origin. During its production process are used 99% recycled water and 100% renewable energy, and recycled raw material. Floors, coverings and bathroom elements told the brand’s novelties at the fair through a stunning installation conceived using three different collections, presented in different sizes and colours.

From the sink in Silestone® Sunlit Days to the one in Dekton® Onirika, then the Dekton® Kraftizen colours that stood out on the right wall. In this way, the entire stand offered a complete story of Cosentino’s latest proposals. With the two new Dekton® collections, Cosentino presented Silestone® surfaces bringing innovation and sustainability as ideal solutions in the architecture and design world. By showing up at the appointment with these collections, Cosentino intends to reaffirm its constant commitment to sustainability and wants to underline the continuous effort for the environment that the Group has been carrying out worldwide for years. In conclusion, participating at Architect@Work reconfirms the Spanish company’s constant commitment to research and innovation, but also the environment, reinforcing its position as a leader in the sector to broaden the design horizons of architects and designers.
