Flos introduces The Glowing Track, a revolutionary architectural lighting collection: a modular system that combines innovation, high performance, versatility and sophisticated design into a single solution. Designed and developed by Flos Architectural, Flos’ technical lighting division based in Valencia, Spain, The Glowing Track offers immersive ambient lighting that integrates harmoniously into the environment, providing homogeneous and balanced illumination. Thanks to an efficient assembly system that ensures precise and secure connections, The Glowing Track is the ideal solution for projects that require versatile and scalable systems without compromising on quality or aesthetics. It is offered in 3 profile models: The Glowing Track, The Glowing Track 360 and The Glowing Track Blind. All profiles are available in three lengths (1200 mm, 1800 mm and 2400 mm), with a diameter of just 47 mm.
The Glowing Track: designed to offer maximum flexibility, this profile pairs the functionality of a hidden track with a sophisticated lateral light distribution that creates a warm and immersive atmosphere. Equipped with a special multi-ribbed diffuser that provides even, balanced light, it minimises glare and softens shadows by design. A wide range of projectors and accent lighting modules is available to meet any project requirements. For accent lighting, it is possible to choose invisible MultiSpot mini modules hidden within the profile or ultra-flexible spots to highlight objects in any space.
The Glowing Track 360: the 360º profile creates cozy and balanced spaces, enhancing the architecture with a soft, pleasant light, ideal for fostering a sense of wellbeing and comfort in any environment. A 360º light ensures uniform illumination in all directions, eliminating harsh shadows and providing consistent brightness.
The Glowing Track Blind: this model is developed for areas where ambient lighting is not required. It focuses on accent illumination through spotlights and accent lighting modules that can be installed on the track, providing dynamic solutions to highlight architectural features and emphasize specific areas.
The profile serves as a decorative element thanks to its exclusive range of finishes, while it can also be integrated to the other profiles of the range, through dedicated mechanical connections, to create hybrid configurations covering any project needs.
The Glowing Track is developed in suspended and surface-mounted versions (with or without integrated driver), adaptable to various conditions, making it the ideal choice for any architectural project. Surface installations offer the option of an integrated or remote driver. The driver compartment remains out of view thanks to a sleek, unobtrusive design, ensuring the profile appears elegant and compact. Its versatile design enables quick, seamless integration into a variety of settings. Modules are also conceived for vertical installation. Vertical modules can redefine the aesthetics of an interior, playing with heights and shaping spaces with new immersive lighting atmospheres. This configuration integrates effortlessly into architectural designs, using the Glowing Track as a ceiling-suspended lighting column to open up endless possibilities.
Accent lighting modules can be fully recessed into the track, maintaining a uniform, refined aesthetic. This seamless integration allows for continuous, uninterrupted light, making it ideal for projects that demand a clean design and homogeneous ambient lighting with impeccable task illumination. Alongside a cosy, diffused lighting effect, the Glowing Track also accommodates compact projectors, offering even greater flexibility in lighting design. These tools stand out for their precision and adaptability, enabling focused, high-performance lighting that enhances architectural elements or defined zones.
Thanks to an exclusive high-quality finish palette of the profiles and complementary spotlights – White, Black, Brushed Bronze, and Brushed Steel – the Glowing Track integrates seamlessly into high-end interiors, elevating the aesthetics of any space with quiet sophistication.
The Glowing Track allows for different dimming options, all available for remote, recessed or surface installation. These include DALI and 1-10V Standard protocols for integration with any control system, Casambi track control through a dimmer device, and track wireless control through the FLOS Control®, available for iOS and Android devices.
