IMOON, from a strong position in food retail, now enters new market niches thanks to 15 years of experience

25 October 2024

A strictly Made in Italy production, of which the export share currently concerns 60 foreign countries. An increasingly diversified, integrated and complex offer that combines new technologies, research and development applied to products in a local and global perspective, thanks to a close dialogue with historic customers and a progressive opening to new figures such as planners and lighting designers.

Proof of this is the fact that Imoon participated in Architect@Work for the first time: a strategic debut that highlighted the innovations that the company can offer in the world of architectural lighting, as well as in the sectors of Fashion retail, Hospitality and Luxury. Thanks to internal multi-sector skills and a strong customization capacity, Imoon aims to redefine spaces through innovative lighting solutions and demonstrate how light can transform the use of spaces in search of a constant reduction in operating costs, greater sustainability with positive impact on the sales margins of its partners.

Imoon debuted at the Architect@Work fair in Rome which took place last June, which marked an important step forward towards the field of architectural lighting. Claiming its leadership in the retail world, Imoon now aims to be recognized for excellence also in non-food, hospitality, residential and tertiary lighting.

Marco Antonacci, commercial manager of Imoon’s retail division and Filippo Squillace, architectural division manager, lead a team that embodies the company’s evolution towards a broader perspective in lighting.”Our participation in Architect@Work is a strategic step to demonstrate how Imoon goes beyond the boundaries of retail, presenting itself as an indispensable interlocutor also in architectural lighting” declared Antonacci.

Imoon presented itself at the fair with the intention not only of exhibiting its products, but above all of showing how its innovative approach and its LED technology can revolutionize the perception of spaces, improving the aesthetics and functionality of illuminated environments. “Through our experience and customization ability, we intend to offer visitors a new dynamic and innovative vision of lighting” underlined Squillace.

A concept reiterated, in greater detail a few days later in Milan, thanks to the organization of press meeting at the Imoon Village. The work took place in person with the involvement of the entire management, starting with Riccardo and Laura Tarquinio who inherited the leadership of the company founded by their father Paolo. The Imoon Village was designed with the aim of allowing partners, customers and various professional figures who are interested in lighting to experience first-hand the philosophy that guides the company’s development and its brand reputation, as reiterated right at the opening of the day’s work by both the President and the CEO respectively.

The basis is an idea of lighting design projected over the long term and the building of relationships of trust to offer a complete service to partners and guarantee constant development of new projects and products based on mutual growth. This is thanks to flexibility and speed in the management of company operations that cover production and pre- and post-sales services. The company stands out for the use of specialized LEDs and for fast and effective design, elements that allow it to respond precisely to customer needs and stand out on the market. The lighting project for the NH Hotel Colleoni in Milan is in fact a concrete example of the excellence achieved by Imoon, demonstrating its ability to overcome complex design challenges and create tailor-made solutions that enhance spaces through light.

The ability to use specialized LEDs, combined with the speed of response and design, represents our distinctive strength” said Antonacci, highlighting how Imoon stands out for its innovative strategy and the excellence of its responses. Imoon’s participation in Architect@Work was not only an opportunity to raise awareness of the company’s cutting-edge LED products, but a manifesto of its vision: to be recognized as a transversal player in the world of lighting. “Our participation in the exhibition marks a fundamental moment in our expansion tactic: we want to demonstrate how our expertise in the LED domain, combined with the possibility of customization and first-rate service, can also stand out in the field of architectural lighting” declared designer Matteo Piedi, the creative mind behind the conception of the Imoon stand.
